Celebrate the New Year 2018 at Poipu Beach Park...

December 31, 2017, Sunday:

Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and join us for the annual New Year's Eve Fireworks celebration on Poipu Beach. We will be showing a family-friendly movie on the big outdoor screen followed by the fireworks show. The spectacular fireworks display will begin at 8:15pm sharp. Food trucks will be lined up to keep bellies happy.

      The Taste of Hawaii is the original food and wine tasting event for the islands and on Kauai. Produced by the Rotary Club of Kapaa and countless community volunteers, this year marks our 29th year of hosting  The Ultimate Sunday Brunch. Taste of Hawaii will be held on Sunday June 4, 2017 at Smith’s Tropical Paradise. Purchase your tickets online and reserve your spot at this year’s event.

      Relay for Life, Hanapepe, Kauai - April 29, 2017, Satruday

      Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer.

      These events  bring communities together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.

      The Relay for Life event on Kauai is held at the Hanapepe Soccer Fields, 4431 Puolo Rd, Hanapepe,
       
      Date:  April 29, 2017, Saturday
      Time:  6:00pm to the next morning 6:00am
      Many food vendors will be on hand to support this great cause.

      Home Resources Show at Kauai Convention Hall, Lihue - April 7 & 8, 2017


      Kauai Orchid Show, April 7 & 8, 2017, Hanapepe United Church of Christ

      2017 Spring Fantasy Show - "April Showers - it's Raining Cats and Dens" at the Hanapepe United Church of Christ Member set-up is on Thursday at 1:00.    The food booth will be providing tasty plate lunches—like baked salmon and meat loaf, and baked goods. The craft booth will be selling orchid-themed items like table place mats and our cookbook. Our member-orchid vendors — Orchid Alley, Nancy Nakama, Gwen Teragawa, and Al Sugano — will have a great selection of orchids for sale. GIOS will also be selling some plants.  Dennis Olivas will be joining us again at the show providing expert advice on how to take care of orchids and doing live demos.
