Waimea Christmas Parade 2015

Come down to Waimea this Saturday, December 19th for the 21st annual "Waimea Lighted Christmas Parade".    The parade originates from Waimea Canyon School parking lot to Huakai Road.  The route continues down Waimea Canyon Drive to Kaumuali'i Highway, then turns onto Alawai Road to Waimea road, ending at Hofgaard Park (center of Waimea town, in front of First Hawaiian Bank).  After the parade, stay and enjoy live, staged music and entertainment  till 11:00pm

This is a very popular community event, as will be evidenced by beach chairs, coolers, beach towels/mats, etc.  used to reserve viewing spots along the parade route.  Some of the items will even appear along the route as early as the night before the parade.   Mini parties (like tailgating) will be happening during the parade and continue on after the parade.  It is a very festive and happy time for  Kauai's western town of Waimea.   Drive carefully.  Live Aloha.

Date:  December 19, 2015, Saturday
Time:  6:00pm - 8pm parade,  8pm - 11pm  live music and entertainment
Where:  Waimea, Kauai
What:   Waimea Lighted Christmas Parade

TRAFFIC ADVISORY
NOTE:  Waimea parade route roads will close shortly after 5pm and remain closed until about 8:30pm.  That means the  Waimea Bridge road will probably be blocked during that time.
